Plantagon Ethoscoin

The Ethoscoin to be issued by Plantagon International has been designed to be a digital version of a pre-paid gift card. The EU and UK do not require Plantagon to conduct background checks on customers in line with anti-money laundering legislation from the EU and UK. However, given the digital nature of the product, both Plantagon and their advisor Salt Exchange Lid decided to take a proportionate approach for customers investing in over SEK 20,000 of Ethoscoins. The role of Ethoscoin for Plantagon is to support their project funding while building a community of like-minded people interested in participating in their pioneering work on meeting the demand for fresh food production in urban landscapes. The Application enables Plantagon to communicate with their Ethoscoin community to invite them to events of interest and keep them updated on their progress on projects such as verticle farms.
